Priddis Music/ProSound, a nationally recognized music licensing business based in Lindon, is providing both the entertainment and the education at the 2012 Lindon Days celebration.On Thursday, August 9 at 7 p.m. through special arrangements with Rick Priddis, country music artist Nathan Osmond will perform on the stage at the Lindon Community Center.

The 75-minute free concert will feature Nathan's latest release, "Stars & Stripes," a patriotic tribute to the men and women of the Armed Forces.Following the concert will be a free 45-minute seminar which will conclude at 9 p.m. At the seminar Rick Priddis who has worked with "American Idol," the OWN television network, "America's Got Talent" and movie studios, will educate and answer questions about developing as an artist, marketing yourself and your songs, licensing your music and the do's and don'ts in the music industry.Osmond will also share his insights as a recording artist and how to succeed, how to go about landing a recording contract, how to work with a record label,and the power of the web.

Those attending the seminar will receive a discounted rate at the studio The Castle, at Priddis Music.
