The ‘American Idol’ Live! tour is in Utah tonight.
The top 10 performers from Season 12 of the Fox reality competition "American Idol" will perform at the Maverik Center, including winner Phillip Phillips and the singer who should have won, third-place finisher Joshua Ledet. The 20-year-old soul singer from Westlake, La., admitted in a photo interview that he "don’t know nothing about Utah," but he’ll get along fine in the Beehive State if there’s plenty of hot sauce available. He dislikes Tabasco because he got overwhelmed during a visit to Avery Island (where Tabasco is manufactured and bottled), and likes the underrated Louisiana "The Original" Hot Sauce, though he doesn’t adhere to the slogan that "One drop does it." "I always carry a bottle," he said. "I put four or five drops on, not just one." He harbors no ill will toward the singers who remained on the show when he was voted off by viewers. "I didn’t think in my head I was going to stay," he said. As for the future, Ledet wants to sing "soulful music, music with a message."
