Westminster's Intermezzo Chamber Music Series every Monday this summer

Westminster College will host the Intermezzo Chamber Music Series every Monday this summer, between July 9 and August 13 (with the exception of July 23) at 7:30 p.m. in the Vieve Gore Concert Hall.

Intermezzo’s 2012 season will be based largely on past audience requests.

The 2012 season concert schedule includes:

· Monday, July 9, 2012 — Dvorák Silhouettes Op.8 Piano, Janácek String Quartet No. 1, Brahms Piano Quartet in A major Op.26

· Monday, July 16, 2012 —Liszt Sonata in B Minor, Roens "Intrados," Schubert Piano Trio No.2 in E-flat

· Monday, July 30, 2012— Poulenc Sonata for Flute and Piano; Weber Trio for Flute, Cello, and Piano in G Minor; Jolivet Chant de Linos for Flute, Violin, Viola, Cello, and Harp; Ravel Piano Trio in A Minor

· Monday, August 6, 2012— Schubert Octet in F Major D.803, Copland Appalachian Spring Suite for 13 Instruments

· Monday, August 13, 2012— Schnittke Prelude in Memoriam Dmitri Shostakovich, Rachmaninoff Suite No.1 for Two Pianos, Op.5
