Utah Opera returns to the Festival with "Opera Hits!," a program of popular opera tunes featuring the Utah Opera Chorus and favorite guest vocalists from recent Utah Opera productions Friday, July 20 at 7:30 p.m.

Led by Utah Symphony Principal Pops Conductor Jerry Steichen, guest artists include Celena Shafer (Rigoletto, La Bohème), Jennifer Welch-Babidge (Suor Angelica), Sishel Claverie (Rigoletto), Darrell Babidge (Little Women, Gianni Schicchi) and Ryan MacPherson (Of Mice and Men, Don Giovanni).

Guest Conductor Larry Baird will lead the Utah Symphony in a musical collaboration with American rock band Kansas Saturday, July 21 at 7:30 p.m.

Both Friday and Saturday performances will be held at the Deer Valley Snow Park Outdoor Amphitheater (2250 Deer Valley Drive South).

Tickets for Deer Valley Music Festival events can be purchased by phone at (801) 533-NOTE (6683), in person at the Abravanel Hall ticket office, or online by visiting www.utahsymphony.org/tickets. Ticket prices will increase by $5 when purchased on day of performance.
