Final Utah State Fair line-up includes Wilson Phillips

Declaring it to be, "one of the best Grandstand line-ups in recent years," Clark H. Caras, Utah State Fairpark executive director, said in a press release that this September's fair will feature "one of the best Grandstand line-ups in recent years."

Lonestar will perform on Tuesday, September 11, and Eric Paslay will be the headliner on Friday, September 14 for the Texaco Country Showdown.

Five of the Grandstand shows will be offered free to the public with the purchase of a gate ticket to the Fairpark. Those free shows will include bands such as Parachute, set to go on stage Thursday, September 6, the opening night of the 2012 Utah State Fair ,with gate admission running at just $5 for anyone age 6 and older.

The 2012 Fair will also see the return of Wilson Phillips who will take to the stage on Friday, September 7.

Jars of Clay will be performing on Saturday, September 8.

Rounding out this year’s talent is Sheena Easton, another free show, set for Sunday, September 9. Blues Traveler who just this week released a new album, will be performing on Wednesday, September 12.

Frank Caliendo will take the stage on Thursday, September 13. On the Fair’s Family Night, Monday, September 10, teen idol and Nickelodeon star Victoria Justice, will highlight the Grandstand Stage.

This year the Utah State Fair runs September 6-16; Sunday - Thursday 10 AM-10PM and Friday - Saturday 10AM- 11PM. Tickets for the Fair and Fair events can be purchased online at www.utahstatefair.com
