Wolf Creek's 2012 summer concert series to kick off with Utah Symphony
The Utah Symphony will perform at Wolf Mountain Ski Resort, June 30, to kick off Wolf Creek Foundation's 2012 Music in the Mountains Concert Series.
The series raises funds to host retreats for deploying Hill Air Force Base airmen and their families. The no-expense weekend retreats for military families are put on in partnership with the Hill Air Force Base chaplain corps and several other base organizations.
"We encourage the community to join us at the concert and support these families that sacrifice so much for the freedoms that we enjoy," said Scott. H. Parkinson, senior vice president of marketing and communications at Bank of Utah, a major sponsor of the concert series, in a press release. For the symphony's performance, admission is $50 per carload. Gates open at 6 p.m. and the concert begins at 8 p.m. Wolf Creek Foundation is inviting all active duty military personnel to attend any concert for free. All concerts are held at 3567 East Nordic Valley Way, Liberty, Utah, at the base of the Wolf Creek ski hill.
