Hey hey, my my, rock and roll can never die.

But if it does have to die, let’s hope it’s June 13 — after two of Utah’s biggest rock shows of the summer.

The Scorpions and Queensrÿche open Usana Amphitheatre’s 10th season on June 11; the next night, Nickelback will headline EnergySolutions Arena with Bush, Seether and My Darkest Days warming up.

Rudolf Schenker from The Scorpions, frontman Geoff Tate from Queensrÿche, frontman Chad Kroeger from Nickelback and guitarist Chris Traynor from Bush all talked to The Tribune about rock shows — and flying stages — circa 2012.
