Remember a few years ago when you couldn't get tickets to see the musical "Wicked"?

Another chance is coming this Friday at 10 a.m., when tickets for the July 18 - Aug. 26 Capitol Theatre engagement for Broadway Across America Utah's "Wicked" go on sale at www.arttix.org

Tickets are being sold through two authorized sales outlets: ArtTix and Broadway Across America Utah season ticket /group sales. ArtTix and Broadway Across America are not responsible for tickets purchased through unauthorized third parties. Should you have a question about a ticket’s validity, contact either ArtTix (801-355-2787) or Broadway Across America Utah (801-355-5502).

Here is a brief description of the show, provided by Broadway Across America Utah:

SO MUCH HAPPENED BEFORE DOROTHY DROPPED IN...

Long before that girl from Kansas arrives in Munchkinland, two girls meet in the land of OZ. One - born with emerald green skin - is smart, fiery and misunderstood. The other is beautiful, ambitious and very popular. How these two grow to become the Wicked Witch of the West and Glinda the Good Witch makes for "the most completely satisfying new musical in a long time"(USA Today) On Broadway and around the world, Wicked has worked its magic on critics and audiences alike. Winner of 15 major awards, including a Grammy™ and three Tony™ Awards. Wicked is "Broadway's biggest blockbuster" (The New York Times).
