America’s Freedom Festival at Provo will welcome country music singer Scotty McCreery, winner of the tenth season of "American Idol," to the 2012 Stadium of Fire, it has just been announced.

In addition to The Beach Boys, McCreery’s performance will add to the July 4th show.

"Scotty McCreery contributes enormously to the enthusiasm of this year’s show," said Paul Warner, Executive Director of America’s Freedom Festival, in a press release. "As if The Beach Boys weren’t enough, Scotty will certainly thrill the stadium audience, as well as the million-plus military men and women watching from around the world."

"Scotty joins a long line of country stars at Stadium of Fire, including Carrie Underwood, Brad Paisley, Brooks & Dunn, Reba McEntire, Martina McBride, Lee Ann Womack, Lonestar and Toby Keith," added Warner. "He joins Taylor Hicks, Carrie Underwood and David Archuleta as American Idol alumni who have performed at the show."

Tickets to Stadium of Fire are currently available at www.stadiumoffire.com. A limited number of $25 tickets are available this year. The show will take place on Wednesday, July 4, at LaVell Edwards Stadium on the campus of Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah.
