The Timpanogos Symphony Orchestra will present violinist Rosalie Macmillan in "Arabian Nights" on May 4 and 5.
With these performances, the Timpanogos Symphony Orchestra, under the direction of John Pew, will complete its first full season.
The program will feature Rimsky-Korsakov’s Scheherazade and Brahms’ Violin Concerto in D Major.
The Salt Lake Tribune has previously recognized Macmillan for her "vibrant, goose bump-inducing flair" and "passion-filled interpretations."
Performances will take place at Timberline Middle School, 500 West Canyon Crest Road, in Alpine, at 7:30 p.m. each night.
Ticket holders are also invited to a "Meet the Artist" pre-concert reception with Macmillan, beginning at 6:45 p.m. each night.
Tickets are available at the door or at the symphony’s Web site: www.theTSO.org. The cost is $10 for general admission or $8 for students and seniors, with $25 family passes available for up to five family members. Attendance is recommended for ages 8 and older.
The TSO is sponsored in part by the Highland City Arts Council and the Alpine Community Arts Council.
