Here is more about the Stadium of Fire Talent Search:

The Stadium of Fire will also provide audience members the opportunity to award $10,000 to an up-and-coming musical artist or group trying to make it big.

Over 5,000 musicians have already submitted videos to compete in the second annual Stadium of Fire Talent Search (up from 400 last year).

Musicians (individuals or groups) can submit their videos to Freedom Festival partner TopBlip (http://www.topblip.com/tour/sof) through Monday, April 23, when the submission stage closes.

After an online voting process, the submissions will be narrowed to 256. A bracket-style battle of the bands will ensue on topblip.com, further narrowing the field down to eight.

The top eight finalists will appear together at a special outdoor concert at the SCERA Shell Outdoor Theatre in Orem on Wednesday, June 13. Judges and the audience will vote for the top three performers to send to Stadium of Fire.

More details about the outdoor concert will come as June approaches. The competition is coming from all over the world--from Utah to Denmark to Singapore. It's not surprising how many up-and-coming artists are so eager to perform at Stadium of Fire, on the same stage as The Beach Boys.
