Warner/Chappell Music, the global music publishing arm of Warner Music Group Corp., just announced the launch of Warner/Chappell Production Music, uniting the company’s production music houses, including a company in our own backyard, Non-Stop Music.
In 2007, Warner/Chappell acquired Salt Lake City-based Non-Stop Music, a leader in the music production business serving the professional world of movies, TV shows, commercials, trailers and radio. Over the past 26 years, Non-Stop has become one of the most influential music production and licensing companies, providing original music and world-renowned, fully administered selections from its library of more than 35,000 song titles.
As part of the launch, Warner/Chappell has unveiled a new website (www.warnerchappellpm.com) which allows visitors to search its production music catalogs from a single source.
Warner/Chappell Music is responsible for many, many tunes that everyone knows, including: the "Today" show theme, ESPN’s NBA, college football, tennis and golf packages, all of the "Toy Story" trailers and advertisements, "Judge Judy" theme song, the music for the British Open, the music for the World Cup South Africa, and TV News theme songs across the world.
The Warner/Chappell Music catalog includes standards such as "Happy Birthday To You," "Rhapsody in Blue," "Winter Wonderland," the songs of Cole Porter and George and Ira Gershwin, as well as the music of Eric Clapton, Green Day, Katy Perry, Led Zeppelin, Lil Wayne, Madonna, Nickelback, Paramore, Red Hot Chili Peppers, T.I. Timbaland, and others.
