Beach Boys co-founder Al Jardine, who will perform with The Beach Boys at the 2012 Stadium of Fire, releasde his first-ever solo album, "A Postcard from California," today.

Jardine is a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee and recipient of a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award. The fifteen-song collection includes four cuts that comprise what Jardine called in a press release "the green side" of the new album, compositions that speak to man and his environment. "Don't Fight the Sea," "Tidepool Interlude" and "A California Saga" are songs that reflect this artist's love for the California coastline.The collection was largely penned by Jardine and features Brian Wilson, Neil Young, Steve Miller, Glen Campbell, Gerry Beckley and Dewey Bunnell of America, Flea from the Red Hot Chili Peppers, David Crosby, Stephen Stills, Alec Baldwin, and John Stamos.
