Southern Utah University’s Department of Music’s Masterworks series will present "A Little Minor Blooze" featuring SUU’s Jazz Band with guest artist trumpeter Wayne Bergeron.

Directed by SUU’s Dr. Thomas Herb, the evening’s program promises to have you swinging and swaying in your seat.

The concert will be Saturday, March 24 at 7:30 p.m. in Cedar City’s Heritage Center Theater.

Tickets are $8 for adults, $6 for SUU Faculty and Staff, $4 for students and youth and SUU students are free with a valid ID.

Wayne Bergeron’s list of credits as a sideman and guest soloist reads like a Who’s Who in contemporary jazz and pop, running the gamut from Ray Charles to Green Day to Tito Puente, including such names as Beyoncé, Christina Aguilera, Earth Wind & Fire, Chicago, Bette Midler, Dianne Reeves, Celine Dion, Diana Krall, Keely Smith, Joe Cocker, INXS, and Kenny G. His dazzling trumpet can also be heard on over 300 TV and motion picture soundtracks, a partial list of which includes such recent blockbusters as "Mission Impossible 3," "Superman Returns," "X-Men 3," "The Incredibles," "Spiderman 2" and, most impressive of them all, "Anchorman."
