Information on how to audition for the second season of "The X-Factor" is available, on top of the (old) news that Paula Abdul and Nicole from the Pussycat Dolls will not be returning.

Online auditions open March 1, and for more info, go to: http://www.thexfactorusa.com/auditions

New for Season Two is that artists with pre-existing management contracts can now audition.

There will be open calls in Kansas City, Austin, San Francisco, Greensboro, and an additional city to be announced.

The show reopens its invitation to ALL of America, ages 12 and over with no upper age limit, to audition for Season Two. Last fall's unscripted series discovered Melanie Amaro, Astro, Chris Rene, Josh Krajcik, Marcus Canty and Rachel Crow, who have all signed major deals with Sony Music. Amaro also won $5 million.
