Zac Brown Band performs at the Maverik Center on Saturday night, but the big music news this week is all of the music happening down in Park City. Harry O's and the House of Blues Foundation Room are no more, so Park City Live and Sugar are filling their spaces, respectively.
Besides Zac, here are the most high-profile shows in Utah from Friday, Jan. 20 to Thursday, Jan. 26:
The Wailers
Spotlight show • On this special “Revolution” tour, The Wailers will perform a themed show, much as they did when they performed the whole of the “Exodus” album onstage for that album’s anniversary. The songs and message of Bob Marley’s rebel music are just as important today as when Marley and The Wailers first performed them, said singer Danglin in a Tribune interview. “We still have segregation, racism,” the 29-year-old said. “When we play rebel music, it means something to me. … Music wasn’t intended for a separate era.” The lone member of The Wailers from the time with Marley is Aston “Family Man” Barrett, but the young members are fully invested to “educate as well as entertain,” Danglin said. “These songs were meant to bring [social issues] to the forefront,” he said. “This is the land that God gave to all of us.”

Doomtree
Spotlight show • Seven rappers from Minnesota will take the stage at the Urban Lounge for a performance from the underground collective. In a genre that often breeds conflict, Dessa said in a Tribune interview that while each member has a solo career, when they come together as Doomtree the vibe is different. “We are really good friends,” she said. “We treat each other like family, and we don’t use the term ‘family’ lightly.” The collective’s second studio album, “No Kings,” was released in November, and member Sims said getting everyone together to record is a massive logistical operation. “We were definitely trying to make glorious rebellious music,” he said. “The only way we could do it was to act like it’s a tour.” Dessa added that it was absolutely necessary to “sequester ourselves” once all seven found themselves in the same room.
