Cirque du Soleil announced today that it is cancelling the Salt Lake City performance of Michael Jackson THE IMMORTAL World Tour on August 21, 2012 at EnergySolutions Arena.

"The success of the tour forces the producer to review its original tour plans to maximize efficient logistics and routing. These adjustments have an impact on select cities, including Salt Lake," a statement said.

Refunds are available at point-of-purchase.

All phone and internet orders will be automatically refunded.

The $5 order processing fee is non-refundable.

The tour was originally supposed to be in Utah for two days last November, and then it was moved to just one day for August 2012. The statement above seems to be code for poor ticket sales.
