New York City rock legend Garland Jeffreys and his Coney Island Playboys will perform songs from his raved-about first LP in 13 years, "The King Of In Between," today on NPR: http://www.npr.org/2011/12/20/144013074/garland-jeffreys-on-world-cafe
NPR Music also included Garland's ripping rocker "Coney Island Winter" in their list of the '100 Best Songs Of The Year': "The best Springsteen song the Boss didn't write this year, by a still-powerful veteran of New York's bohemian streets."
In addition, the band will perform at the ASCAP Sundance Cafe on Jan. 22 and Jan. 23, it has been leaked.
