Adam Carolla now has Guinness World Record. Really.

Today, the Guinness World Records confirmed that Adam Carolla of ACE Broadcasting and "The Adam Carolla Show" has officially taken the record from comedian Ricky Gervais for the most downloaded podcast in the world.

The Adam Carolla Show is a daily, 90-minute podcast that features Carolla's salty humor and charming conversational tone as he interviews guests and rants about daily happenings. The show was an instant hit when it first launched in 2009, with more than 50 million downloads in its first year. S

"The Ricky Gervais Show" received the Guinness World Records title in 2006.
