The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) has recognized Lady Gaga — performing in Utah this Saturday — as the highest-certified artist of digital singles in Gold & Platinum history with 20 million downloads sold, according to the group's February Gold & Platinum certifications report. Lady Gaga (and her fans) made "Just Dance" reach 6x multi-Platinum, "Poker Face" 5x multi-Platinum, "Bad Romance" 4x multi-Platinum, "Paparazzi" 3x multi-Platinum and "Love Game" 2x multi-Platinum, to a total record of 20 million digital singles sold.

At 6x multi-Platinum, the tune "Just Dance" ties the Black Eyed Peas' "I Gotta Feeling" as the RIAA's HIGHEST digital song certification in G&P program history.

In addition to Gaga's great feat, the RIAA extends additional kudos to fellow female icons Rihanna and Taylor Swift whose digital single certification tallies are currently 19 million and 18.5 million respectively. The Black Eyed Peas are the "group" that currently has the most digital singles certified at 17.5 million units. A notable first Platinum award went to Grammy Best New Artist nominee, U.K. quartet Mumford & Sons, for debut album Sigh No More.
