There is a new App that is billed as an "exceptionally functional software programs with dedication to the LDS faith and a challenge from a beloved prophet to read the Book of Mormon by the end of the year."

In 2011—for $10.98—you get an iPhone, iPod touch, or iPad application for "Read the Scriptures" that brings you your personalized scheduled scripture readings to wherever you are when you have a few moments to read, study, and mark them.

Back in 2005, shortly after President Gordon B. Hinckley's October challenge to all Church members to read the Book of Mormon by the end of that year, LDS members got the original at-home online version of Read the Scriptures.

Wayne and Jeanne Dixon of Riverton have developed the app. You can get it at:
