Utah's own "American Idol" David Archuleta will meet his fans and sign copies of his new album, "The Other Side of Down," immediately following his performance at the Mormon Tabernacle Choir's Christmas Concert on Friday, Dec. 17. Multifaceted actor Michael York (below), the narrator at the Choir's 2010 Christmas concert, will also sign. The signings will be Friday, Dec. 17 at approximately 9:30 p.m. until 11 p.m. It will be at Downtown Deseret Book, 45 West South Temple, Salt Lake City

Here are some guidelines from Deseret Book:They wish to greet each fan briefly as they sign, however, there are a few guidelines on which we ask your cooperation. These guidelines will allow them to meet as many friends as possible. 1. This is a "Signature Only" signing. Please do not ask for personalization to be added to products. If they personalize one CD – in fairness, they would need to personalize all, and time will simply not allow for that. 2. There is a designated photo area across from the signing area. If you wish to take a photo of your family or friends while they are at the signing table having Mr. Archuleta and Mr. York sign their product, that is fine. However, time will not allow for any "posed photos". If you bring cameras through the signing line, please do not halt the line for a photo (shoot as you move through the line or from the photo area once you are done not while you are at the podium, please). 3. Store staff will assist you in making the signing flow as quickly as possible. Store staff will help you open CDs and DVDs, open your book to the correct page, and will help pull out CD booklets that Mr. Archuleta and Mr. York will autograph. Having your product ready to open and ready to sign will assist greatly in the pace of the signing.
