"Beatles Complete On Ukulele" is Roger Greenawalt's ongoing series in which he performs all 185 original Beatles songs in a 24-hour period on ukulele with scores of guest musicians in various cities around the world for charity.

Greenawalt is not a Utahn.

Says Greenawalt in a press release: "After raising literally "hundreds of dollars" for Warren Buffett in 2009, I worried that there was nowhere left to go but down. Until I saw The Social Network. Like Darth Vader before him, Mark Zuckerberg has become the villain of the best movie of the year. To repair his prickly public image, Zuckerberg needs to reach deep down and find his Inner Shatner. And nothing humanizes and socializes an unpopular person like the ukulele. I am living proof of that. Mark is a bright guy, I know I can teach him to play "Baby You're A Rich Man" on ukulele in under 10 minutes. By headlining at our show at Brooklyn Bowl in January, Zuck will assure that we sill successfully raise big bucks for the charity of his choice. (Though I would suggest Warren Buffett's pet uke charity, Girls' Inc. Of Omaha Nebraska). And he can go a long way towards proving to the world that all his money and power is in good, socially conscious hands. And that he is friendly. (Interesting to note, on Facebook you can like Zuckerberg, but you cannot friend him.)"Today, Greenawalt's supporters are putting up a Facebook page titled Friending Zuckerberg, as well as launching an online petition called "One Million Facebook Users Want Mark Zuckerberg To Learn To Play 'Baby You're A Rich Man' On Ukulele."Last year's shows featured guest appearances from Nickelodeon's The Naked Brothers, Ryan Miller of Guster, Adam Green, The Pierces, and Ben Kweller.

"Beatles Complete On Ukulele" will be held at the Brooklyn Bowl on Saturday, Jan. 15 at 6 p.m. and will go to midnight. The rest of the songs will be performed starting that following Sunday at noon. All 185 original Beatles songs will be performed.http://www.beatlescompleteonukulele.com is Greenawalt's companion site where he is rerecording every Beatles song on ukelele accompanied by a different guest singer and posting it on a weekly basis, along with an accompanying essay. Greenwalt is now on week 50 of 185 weeks.
