Guess what will be coming to Park City for Sundance this year.

The House of Blues

One of the most respected brands in live music will take over The Star Bar at the top of Main Street for 10 days during the 2011 Sundance Film Festival, and it already looks like it will be one of the hardest tickets to get when Sundance rolls around.

For one thing, The Star Bar is about half the size of Harry O's, which for the past several years has been the No. 1 hotspot for music once celebs are done with their screenings and red carpets.

The line-up is still being firmed up, but already booked include Third Eye Blind, The Wailers, and The Dirty Heads.

A special night will be the opening night, Thursday — a benefit show for the Make-A-Wish Foundation in Utah. It will be a superband jam session, with confirmed band members including Jeff "Skunk" Baxter (Steely Dan and The Doobie Brothers), Guy Pratt (Pink Floyd), and Mike Mangini (drummer who is best known for his work as a session artist who has played for Extreme and Steve Vai, as well as a teacher at the Berklee College of Music in Boston; he hold's five World's Fastest Drummer world records.)

Bigger and bigger names will be revealed soon, and you can read it here first.
