Kathy Stephenson
Kathy Stephenson has been the food writer at The Tribune since 2000. A Utah native, Stephenson's first job was picking zucchini on her grandparent's Kaysville farm. Every Christmas, Stephenson's neighbors and colleagues look forward to getting a plate of her baklava. Last year, she gave away nearly 300 pieces.

Mountain West Burrito celebrates the opening if its second location in Provo tonight — Monday, Oct. 29 — with a "Zombie Burrito Launch Party."

From 7 to 9 p.m., the new store at 815 N. 700 East (south of the Brigham Young University campus) will offer 50 percent off menu items, free chips and salsa and will give away prizes, including one year of free burritos. The guest with the best costume, will get a burrito party for 4 and the winner of the "Carnage Asada Burrito Eating Contest" gets a $100 gift card.

There also will see the premier of "Mountain West Murder," the first film produced by Pick Your Own Adventure. Mountain West Burrito plays a starring role in the film and viewers will get to pick the ending.
