Diva's to reopen

After being closed for more than a year, Diva's Cupcakes and Coffee at 1560 E. 3300 South in Salt Lake City has a new owner and should reopen soon. It will operate under a new name — Diva's Cafe & Spirits.
In recent weeks, the cafe has been advertising for kitchen and waitstaff on local job boards. And last month, the Utah Division of Alcohol Beverage Control granted a "change of ownership" for its liquor license.
I'm hoping the cafe opens soon so we can enjoy it's lovely secluded patio, pictured here in 2009.
