Sandwich shop closed for health violations

Gandolfo's New York Deli at 2641 W. 7800 South, was closed down by the Salt Lake Valley Health Department today for "presenting an imminent health hazard."
According to this notice posted on the department's website, the restaurant was cited for the following violations:
-An employee did not wash hands before putting on gloves.
-The hand sink is not operational because the faucet knobs are missing.
-Potato salad is held out of temperature at 48 degrees Fahrenheit.
-Food employees are not using hair restraints.
-Employees cannot verify food handler training.
-There is no probe thermometer to check internal temperatures of food.
