The chef/owner of The Mist Project has added three more nights of dining to his "pop up" restaurant experience, which takes diners on a 15-course journey into the world of molecular gastronomy.

Because of the "sheer volume of waitlist requests," Chef Gavin Baker announced Friday that he will open on Friday, Feb. 24, Saturday, Feb. 25 and Sunday, Feb. 26.

The Mist Project, which sold out last week, was originally supposed to end Feb. 19. It opened on Jan. 19 in the former Metropolitan restaurant in downtown Salt Lake City.

"Tickets for these nights will offered to those guests already on the waitlist and they will be selected on a first-come, first-served basis," a spokesperson said.

About 108 people will have access to the new batch of tickets, as Baker only serves 36 people each night. Tickets cost $150 a person, plus tax and tip.
