Kathy Stephenson
Kathy Stephenson has been the food writer at The Tribune since 2000. A Utah native, Stephenson's first job was picking zucchini on her grandparent's Kaysville farm. Every Christmas, Stephenson's neighbors and colleagues look forward to getting a plate of her baklava. Last year, she gave away nearly 300 pieces.

'Top Chef' auditions in a city near you

Chefs interested in competing on the Emmy award winning reality show "Top Chef" can try out for the 10th season in February and March.

Open casting calls will be held in six U.S. cities, producers announced on Thursday. And three of the sites — Denver, Los Angeles and San Franciso — are quick trip by air or car from Utah.

Here's the schedule:

NEW YORK • Tuesday, Feb. 21, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Colicchio & Sons http://www.colicchioandsons.com

DENVER • Wednesday, Feb. 22, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Linger http://www.lingerdenver.com
