The monthly “Cooks and Books” series, sponsored by The King’s English Book Shop and Harmon’s Grocery store, continues Wednesday, Feb. 8, with a discussion and recipe demonstration from the bood Cutting for Stone by Abraham Verghese.
The class starts at 6:30 p.m. at the Harmon’s in Draper, 125 E. 13800 South.
Participants will sample the national dish of Ethiopia, Doro Wat, a richly flavored chicken stew with onions, ginger and eggs; Sambossa, an appetizer with ground lamb and mint; and Ethiopian tomato and cucumber salad.
Cost is $50, and includes a discussion, food and a copy of the book.
