The St. Regis Deer Valley in Park City will hold a Bloody Mary cocktail clinic Sunday, Jan. 22 at 11 a.m. at The St. Regis Bar. This Sundance Film Festival event is open to the public and costs $16 per person.Hosting the event is Ilfu Hadera, the long-legged Ethiopian/Swedish actress who stars in Spike Lee's upcoming HBO series "Da Brick" based on the life of Mike Tyson. In addition to Ilfu, several cast members are expected to attend. (We heard Spike might be there, but there's no guarantee.)

The Bloody Mary is believed to have originated at The St. Regis New York in 1921 and the 7542 Bloody Mary is The St. Regis Deer Valley's take on the drink. It is named for the altitude of the resort - 7,542 feet high.

All attendees will learn how to make the spicy concoction which is topped with wasabi-celery espuma and enhanced by black lava sea salt.

Guests also will get to ride the funicular (see attached photo), a dramatic way to enter a hotel.
