Eric “Silo” Dahl, the nation’s top student eater according to the National Collegiate Competitive Eating Association, will be in Sandy on Wednesday, Dec. 28.
He’ll be attempting the “26-inch pizza challenge” at Tenney’s Pizza in Sandy, says restaurant owner Don Southwick.
Southwick said starting at 7 p.m., Dahl will have one hour to eat the one-topping pizza that weighs a whopping 6 pounds.
“No bathroom breaks or vomitting allowed,” says Southwick, who received a call earlier this week saying Dahl was coming to the restaurant.
Southwick said so far no one has successfully completed the challenge, which offers a $100 prize, a free pizza and bragging rights.
