Claire Stevenson just called to tell me about a good deed she and her family experienced at Franck's restaurant in Holladay.
After spending three days in a nearby hospital, Stevenson's 8-year-old grandson, Tyson, was ready for a "good meal." When asked to pick a restaurant, Tyson selected Franck's, a place his family had frequented before and which served his favorite seafood item: Prince Edward mussels.
When the Stevenson's made the reservation, the hostess asked if it was a special occassion. While it wasn't a birthday or anniversary, the family wondered if being released from the hospital counted as a "special occasion." It did.
Tyson and his siblings were treated like royalty by the staff with blueberry and kiwi Italian ices. Chef Franck visited the table and talked to Tyson. And several of the menu times were comped on the bill.
Well done Franck! Well done.
