Award-winning blogger and cookbook author Ree Drummond -- aka The Pioneer Woman -- will bring her signature wit and down-home recipes to the Food Network starting Saturday, Aug. 27.
Drummond's new series called — what else — "The Pioneer Woman" will be shot on location at her Oklahoma ranch. It will feature the recipes that fans have come to love from her popular website (www.ThePioneerWoman.com) and her subsequent cookbook.
In between making Lemon Blueberry Pancakes, Perfect Pot Roast and Fig, Prosciutto and Arugula Pizza, the city-girl-turned-rancher's-wife takes time to wrangle horses, compete in a shooting contest with her husband Ladd (aka “The Marlboro Man”) and have fun with her four children.
Fans -- and I know there are a lot of them in Utah --- can get a sneak peek of the show starting Monday, Aug. 22 on www.foodnetwork.com/pioneerwoman.
