I'm a sucker for sliders. They are easier to eat than a massive burger, and don't weigh me down.

Usually these mini-sandwiches come with a patty of beef, chicken or seafood. But I discovered a new favorite last weekend: the pork belly slider at Dojo

The pork belly (the same meat used to make bacon) was tender as rib meat. The red chile sauce had spice but wasn't overwhelming; and the daikon radishes and other shredded vegetables added crunch.

But the best part was the "bun," made from soft, slightly sweet "bao" dough. It's the same dough used to make Chinese steamed buns, another of my favorite foods. An order of three is $11.95.

I washed it down with a Kirin beer imported from Japan and left a happy customer.

I still want to try the Ramen at Dojo, but those sliders keep calling.
