Utes focus on staying motivated for Colorado
Utah coach Kyle Whittingham and the players present at Monday's press conference were adamant they would give all they have against Colorado on Saturday even if a bowl game is no longer a possibility for them. Nevertheless, that might be a hard ideal to live up to as the Utes admitted Saturday's loss at Washington State was a heart-breaker. The Utes thought they had a comeback within their grasp and losing in the way they did was difficult, they said. Utah defensive end Trevor Reilly said he didn't even turn his phone on until Monday afternoon because he didn't want to discuss the loss. "I didn't have a very good game so I am taking it pretty hard," he said. "I feel bad for the alumni and fans that we didn't deliver this year." Quarterback Adam Schulz is taking the loss personally too, knowing the early interceptions put his team in a bind. Here is more from Schulz in this video on the Colorado game and Reilly's impact on him as a senior. - Lya Wodraska
