Utah freshman Jordan Loveridge missed Thursday's practice with a knee injury. He is listed as day-to-day, and it's unknown whether he will play or not on Saturday against Colorado.

Loveridge, who has been one of the best rookies in the Pac-12 Conference this season, hyperextended the knee in practice on Tuesday. He received an MRI on Wednesday. The results were negative.

"He's in the clear as far as that's concerned," Utah coach Larry Krystkowiak said. "There's no structural damage or anything with his ligaments."

It's been a tough few weeks for Loveridge, who is averaging 12 points and seven rebounds per game. He almost missed the Stanford game with concussion symptoms. He was flu-ridden during the loss against California last week, and his production has fallen off because of it.

Loveridge has played and started every game at power forward. When healthy, he provides the Utes with an inside-outside threat who is already one of the better rebounders in the conference.
