Utah's recruiting weekend paid off with commitments from two linemen, Salesi Uhatafe and Lowell Lotulelei. However, there are still several recruits the Utes are after who are undecided. Here is a rundown of the players the Utes are still recruiting. Gaius Vaenuku, Uhatafe's teammate, is undecided but with Uhatafe and teammate Sam Tevi committing to the Utes, you have to like Utah's chances of landing the defensive lineman. The Utes are also after Sese Ianu, a defensive tackle out of Golden West College, Deon Hollins Jr., a linebacker out of Missouri, Texas, Kenneth Santa Marina, an offensive lineman out of New Orleans, Micah Thomas, an athlete out of Galena Park, Texas and Kylie Fitts, a defensive lineman out of Redlands, Calif. The Utes are also dipping into the south to recruit receiver D.J. Polite Bray and his teammate, lineman Joshua Outlaw, out of Lithonia, Ga. It is notable that the Utes are battling UCLA for several of these players. Hollins Jr., who visited Utah two weeks ago, is said to have all but made his commitment to UCLA official after his weekend visit. The Utes were an underdog in the battle anyway, but moved up in Hollins Jr.'s estimation after his visit to Salt Lake City."It far exceeded my expectations," he said of his visit two weeks ago to Utah. "The whole feel of the place was great. A lot of guys look at Utah as a weirdo place so I didn't know what to expect, but I liked them a whole lot." Defensive lineman Kylie Fitts, out of Redlands, Calif., also tripped to UCLA this weekend and is expected to visit Notre Dame and Utah before announcing his decision. Safety Tyler Foreman out of Encino, Calif., committed to UCLA on Sunday after his visit, ending Utah's hopes of landing him. - Lya Wodraska
