Utah fans who thought they might lose defensive coordinator Kalani Sitake to Utah State can relax today with the Aggies' decision to hire offensive coordinator Matt Wells to replace Gary Andersen. The Utes already must replace one defensive guy with line coach Chad Kauha'aha'a, set to join Andersen at Wisconsin. He coached Utah State's defensive line in 2009-10. A possible candidate for Utah State's offensive coordinator's position could be Utah's passing game coordinator Aaron Roderick. However, sources told the Tribune Thursday that Roderick has not been contacted regarding the position. Roderick has been with the Utes for eight seasons, serving as the wide receivers coach, co-offensive coordinator and passing game coordinator during his time with the Utes. In other news, former Ute Zane Beadles has been named the Broncos' Walter Payton Man of the Year for his charity work. - Lya Wodraska
