As expected, the Utah Utes will play seven home games next season with Utah State serving as the home opener on Thursday, Aug. 29. Other non-conference games are against Weber State on Sept. 7 and at BYU on Sept. 21, the Utes announced Thursday. The Utes won't learn when they will play their Pac-12 opponents until January, but they do know they'll play Oregon State, UCLA, Stanford, Arizona State and Colorado in Rice-Eccles Stadium. They'll be on the road against Oregon, USC, Arizona and Washington State. Washington and Cal are off the schedule for 2013. The last time the Utes played seven home games was in 1995 when the Utes finished 7-4 overall and 3-4 at home. The Utes are 383-178-16 at home and 225-239-12 in road games. The Utes, who host Arizona Saturday at 8 p.m., are winless on the road this season. - Lya Wodraska
