If the Utes lose Saturday they won't be able to blame the loss on poor preparation. Utah coach Kyle Whittingham said in reviewing the tape of Monday's practice it was the best Monday practice of the year. He was positive about Tuesday's effort as well. "It was a very good practice," he said. "I'll tell you tomorrow if it was the best." Participating in the practice was linebacker J.J. Williams, who hasn't played this year due to a foot injury. Whittingham didn't rule out the possibility Williams might play Saturday. Williams was having a great camp until he suffered the foot injury and his presence could give the Utes a lift if Chad Manis (ankle injury) can't play. "He may get some time," Whittingham said.
