This blog had to laugh at Morrill's response to the scheduling question.

The USU head coach has taken quite a bit of heat in past seasons over the schedule strength, or the lack of schedule strength. In a Tuesday afternoon interview with Aggieville, Morrill fired back, and it wasn't so subtle.

"The schedule is very challenging with the quality of teams we have," Morrill said. "When we added Georgetown, suddenly we didn't hear all of these complaints. But I contend that we must've done something right in the past because we've gotten two NCAA tournament at-large bids in the last five seasons."

Morrill said that he will really feel as if he accomplished a lot if he were to get a home and home series with a BCS school. No doubt, though the games at Georgetown and at BYU in the preseason are very high profile matchups. At Denver, at home against Weber State and at home against Long Beach State should be very good games as well. Each of those teams are NCAA tournament contenders.
