With 69 yards passing, Diondre Borel, the senior quarterback, will reach the 5,000 yards passing for his career. It would be a great accomplishment for Borel as he would be just the seventh quarterback in Aggie history to throw for such yardage. And when you realize where Borel has come from as a quarterback, his accomplishment is all the more amazing.

Borel was a wide receiver in his freshman season, and saw the field for only a handful of snaps all year. His sophomore season saw him battling constantly with Sean Setzer for the starting quarterback position. Borel truly took off last season, throwing for 17 touchdowns and four interceptions and setting himself up to be a star this season.

It's almost a given that Borel will reach the milestone on Saturday against Idaho State. However, it's been a startling transformation for Borel, who has become one of the best quarterbacks in the Western Athletic Conference in a short period of time.
