Well, the bad news is that Utah State begins its season 0-1, and it looks like Matt Austin is out for the season. He went down with a knee injury in the first half, and the prognosis isn't good.

The good news? The Aggies are a good team, potentially a really good team. It was apparent in the preseason, but you just never know until you get into a game situation. The Aggies are a fast bunch, athletic, tough and explosive offensively. This is a team that should score a lot of points this season.

The Aggies, however, have to sieze the momentum afforded by this loss. They need to take care of business against Idaho State, and that would set up a monsterous showdown against Fresno State. But from the looks of things, this could be a fun season.
