If you're a vampire, would you really be worried about senior prom? Apparently, at least on The Vampire Diaries (7 p.m., CW/Ch. 30).According to the network, "Caroline finds that her carefully laid plans for the perfect Senior Prom night are disrupted by Elena, so she turns to an amused Klaus for a solution. Determined to get through to Elena, Damon and Stefan both attend the prom, but the evening begins to spiral out of control despite their efforts. When Elena suddenly lashes out in a way no one could have predicted, Matt turns to Rebekah for help. Finally, Bonnie makes a terrifying discovery, and Klaus receives a message that could change everything."Come to think of it, my senior prom was only slightly less complicated. Although I didn't notice any vampires in attendance.Elsewhere on TV ...Community (7 p.m., NBC/Ch. 5): Jeff's holiday party takes a turn when the group decides to get back at Professor Cornwallis.American Idol (7 p.m., Fox/Ch. 13): Another contestant is eliminated. The Vampire Diaries (7 p.m., Fox/Ch. 13): Elena disrupts Caroline's prom plans.Project Runway (7 and 11:02 p.m., Lifetime): In part 1 of the finale, Tim Gunn visits the finalists as they work on their collections.Parks and Recreation (8 and 8:30 p.m., NBC/Ch. 5): Leslie tries to repeal outdated laws; Jerry retires.Glee (8 p.m., Fox/Ch. 13): Rachel auditions for "Funny Girl."Beauty and the Beast (8 p.m., CW/Ch. 30): Evan confesses his feelings to Cat.Men at Work (8 and 10 p.m., TBS): The guys try to impress their new editor.Hannibal (9 p.m., NBC/Ch. 5): Jack thinks Abigal may have helped her serial-killer father with his crimes.Anger Management (10 and 10:30 p.m., FX): Charlie fights with his ex; Charlie's neighbors don't want him bringing his patients home.
