The most evocative title attached to any film in the 2013 Sundance Film Festival might be this one: "The Machine Which Makes Everything Disappear."

This documentary, by Georgian director Tinatin Gurchiani, bears the following synopses from Sundance: "A film director casting a 15-23-year-old protagonist visits villages and cities to meet people who answer her call. She follows those who prove to be interesting enough through various dramatic and funny situations."

The images in the trailer are intriguing, and the faces of Gurchiani's subjects are compelling.

"The Machine Which Makes Everything Disappear" screens in the World Cinema Documentary competition of the 2013 Sundance Film Festival.
