Davis High's Alex Morrell has given a verbal commitment to play at USU Eastern in Price after returning from a Mormon mission.
The 6-foot-6 Morrell will play at the former College of Eastern Utah after he returns from a mission in Raleigh, N.C., in 2015, said Chad Rawlings, his AAU coach. Morrell averaged 6.3 points and 4.8 rebounds per game during his senior season with the Darts, according to MaxPreps.com.
