The Timpview football team is back in the Class 4A finals after an impressive 32-14 win over East on Friday at Rice-Eccles Stadium.

The snow and wind left the Thunderbirds undaunted. They tore up the field on offense, getting 266 passing yards out of quarterback Jake Lloyd, as well as five total touchdowns from the senior.

It was an emotional win for Timpview, which has seen the departure of its head coach and has had to forfeit games from each of its two most recent seasons.

In this video, Lloyd talks about executing in the adverse weather, and also how the team kept its emotions in check in one of the most anticipated games of the year.
