Here's what's being talked about this St. Patrick's Day in pop culture:

• "Star Wars: Episode VII" will start filming in May and take place 30 years after "Return of the Jedi," Disney CEO Bob Iger told shareholders. He also told them that Disney is developing sequels to Pixar's "The Incredibles" and "Cars." [Entertainment Weekly]

• Ivan Reitman says he won't direct the third "Ghostbusters" movie — though, at this rate, will anyone? [Deadline]

• So Russell Crowe and the "Noah" filmmakers did get to meet Pope Francis, but in a quick moment during His Holiness' weekly general audience and not in a private meeting. [The Hollywood Reporter]
