Here's what's being talked about in pop culture:

• Former South African President Nelson Mandela, who died Thursday at the age of 95, has touched all facets of the world's culture — including pop culture. Consider the many times Mandela has been depicted in movies. [The Huffington Post]

• With one "X-Men" movie hitting theaters next summer, another one has been announced for 2016. [Vulture]

• Looks like Brian will be coming back from the dead on "Family Guy." So everyone who got upset will be relieved, and everyone who thought the show was being ridiculously cynical will have their beliefs confirmed. Everybody wins. [Entertainment Weekly]
